The steady growing Ban Phe in the province of Rayong is since many years known as an attractive destination to enjoy the surrounding beaches “Suan Son” and “Hat Maerampung” on the main land.
Most of International tourists know Ban Phe only from the stop over to change from bus to boat and from a quick snack while waiting for the ferry to island Koh Samet or the taxi back to their base location.

However Ban Phe is a perfect and still authentic destination to wile and stay and to visit all the surrounding attractions. Knowing that in less then 40 minutes by ferry (or 10 minutes by speed boat) you can reach Koh Samet (by the way: The entrance fee for the national park is 1 month valid for foreigners!) but still being close to shopping and “civilization” makes Ban Phe the perfect host of your stay.
